I was really pissed with Performancing Ads these past days. Why? Actually, I was really excited when I joined this program several weeks ago. Their intuitive approach to advertising and money making opportunities for web publishers like me is something worth trying out.I submitted this site to the program when I complete my registration. It took a while, a few days actually, before I got an advertiser to my site. Apparently, I submitted one of my article directories to their inventory and I was happy that the site was able to get some advertisers too. The ad placements were even reflected in my account. I eventually submitted two of my gambling-related sites and to my surprise, both got one advertiser each. I was very glad when this happened since the income I was expecting, though it is very little, is good enough to pay for my web hosting expenses.
However, I was wondering when I checked my account after a few days. It is reflected in my Account Panel the bookings that I made in the past week. But the corresponding income for the ad sales were not there. So I immediately sent them an email through my Account Panel hoping that they will at the very least explain the situation but it’s more than a week and I haven’t received any feedback from them.
Now, I am totally pissed…

I joined this paid review program a while ago to try my luck with doing paid reviews. Actually, I have done this in the past, but in the recent weeks, paid review opportunities were not many compared last year. This may due to the fact that first, the PageRank of this website went down a notch in the last update and at the same time, it’s Alexa ranking also decreased.I have already submitted this blog and I’m waiting for its approval. I received an email informing me that I have made a sale from one of the web hosting affiliate programs that I joined. However, the sale must be confirmed first before they give the commission to me. John’ Google Adsense application has been approved. He immediately logs on his account, get some codes and paste it on his website. After which, he composed a blog entry about making money with Adsense, his beginnings as a Web Entrepreneur. John got a feeling of heaven when he saw the first Google ad being delivered on his webpage. John knew it will be the start of a new career for him.
With all the enthusiasm and high spirit feeling of John, he composes a blog entry everyday, hoping that more ads will be shown and eventually, income will be realized.
After a few days, he was surprised to see that he had earned his first dollar from the program. He planned to blog more and put more ad blocks in this pages.

He began copying others’ content, substituting a few words with his own, and putting additional 2-3 sentences to make it appear as his own.
Apparently, his earnings dropped. It was lucky for him if he had a few cents per day. And this situation brought Joey so much frustration. He promised to himself that he will bounce back, and regain that dollars-machine that he had.
Joey browsed some sites belonging to the “dark forces” and he evetually learned how to make “black magics” in order to bring him more dollars. He began clicking his own ads once in a while. He also put an image above his ads carrying the text “Click below to support this site”, assuming that mighty Google will not recognize that. He also used a rotator for his meta tags, which interchanges their values with keywords that have the highest bid for Google Adwords. His pages started to bring ads about debt, college loans, attorneys, legal matters, and many other terms which his websites has no or little content about.
The forces at the Googleplex noticed the sudden surge of John’s earnings as reflected in the number of ad clicks that his site is receiving. There are more clicks than pageviews for most of his pages, and while highly paid ads are being shown, his pages only have a few sentences as content, with no relevance to the ads being shown.
John’s website is penalized by Google. Worst, his Adsense account is also suspended for massive click fraud and cheating. And before Google sends his next paycheck, all his earnings are put on hold. John knows there no one to blame but him, though he knows there are hundreds of affiliate programs available in the Internet, it’s too late for him to realize that Adsense is far the best of all advertising program being offered to webmasters.
Do you want to be like John??? Don’t be a loser, it takes something to be a winner, but being a loser takes everything from you.

I just recently found out that Google has released its newest innovation: this time an open source browser named Chrome! I am excited to see how it will compete with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I haven’t used it but certainly I will try this in the coming days.This move sends a signal that Google is really capturing the Internet market. It will not be impossible if one of these days Google will also release an productivity suite to be installed in Windows and/or Unix-based systems. They already have their document formats online and the possibility of having an machine-based software is close to reality. Well, that’s Google. It can be easier to do those things when you have all the resources.

I think Google is really playing god when it comes to websites and pagerank. This blog wasn’t even spared of its wrath when it slapped a PageRank penalty on this blog. From PR4, my site went down to PR0. I’m expecting for my income to go down as offers for reviews will surely decline. I hope this is not the end of it.

It took awhile before I have finally made another blog entry in this website. Being busy with my job, as well my thesis and a couple of websites, it’s hard for me to find time blogging. But not for this one, when I was so delighted when my first paycheck from Google Adsense arrived. It’s not a big amount, but nonetheless, it took some doubts and pessimisms from my thoughts that a person can actually earn from that program.
