How does Search Engine Optimization (SEO) provide a lot of income opportunities for webmasters like me? I myself do SEO. I actually became aware of the concept when I join the SEO Philippines Yahoogroup before and when the people behind it decided to put up an online forum to facilitate more discussions among its members, that’s when my knowledge and understanding about the concept broadened. The concept is still foreign to a lot of people, even my friends whom I thought are aware of Internet concepts, and some of them are even doing online marketing campaigns do not understand what SEO stands for. I am just thankful that because of that online community, I happened to understand the concept in layman’s term and even prepared me to discuss it among my peers without sounding to technical or geeky.So why do SEO by the way? People do SEO to make money. Yes they do it to conquer the top search engine results for a particular keyword that they set, but the bottom line is all about making money from it. Merchants and webmasters do it to drive traffic to their sites, and eventually converting these visitors to potential buyers or users of a particular service. Others like Chicago Search Engine Optimization do it for other companies and they are paid for the service. The group I mentioned above has a lot of people doing this kind of service. They work from home and do not have the 8-hour job. And like Search Engine Optimization Chicago, they earn a living, more than what a regular job can offer to them.
There is a certainly a career in SEO. It is a career not defined a good workplace, situated in a high-rise building complete with amenities. Though there are professionals and companies who do SEO in this manner, SEO is a career what you can do at the comfort of your home, without leaving your family.
