I’ve been a member of more than 70 forums/online communities in the Internet. Though I’m not an active member to each and every one of those forums, I see to it that I have quite a number of posts in order for my signature - that is, texts/keywords linking to my sites - to appear significantly and scattered all over the site. Many are not convinced of the power of forums signature as a link building strategy. However, I see it differently.
After all, it’s like publicity. Even if it’s negative, it is still publicity. So for me, even if it not a quite relevant link, it is still a link.
